The Seaforth Highlanders must have been something to see, waging battle in their traditional Scottish kilts accompanied by the skirl of bagpipes. A cousin fought for and lost his life in this Scottish division of the British army. Thanks to recently becoming acquainted with a living cousin, I now have a more vivid picture of this ancestor and his wartime sacrifice.
